How long have you been doing what you do?

Production and DJ wise I've been on it now for around 5 years now. When I was doing my GCSE's I got hold of a copy of 'Reason' and to start with it was a case of getting in from school, opening reason and then just experimenting and trying to work out what a 'Compressor' was for! The music side of things was something I was strong at as I've been playing the Cello from a very young age, and over the years I've had a load of experience playing in concerts with Orchestras and playing solo classical work. The classical training gave me all the fundamental music knowledge and theory to be creative, so once I got hold of Reason and then later Fruity Loops, it was a case of learning the program and then having fun with it.

I eventually got a mac just over a year ago and then I was able to make the move to Logic which really has taken my producing to the next level. No matter what happens with my producing career, I'll always have a passion for music in general and being creative.

What are you working on now?

I've just finished making two E.P's which will be coming out either at the end of this year or at the start of 2012. One E.P is coming out on a Bristol Label called 'Subdepth Records' which is focused more on the deeper side of Garage/Dubstep. The other E.P is coming out on a label called 'Bassclash Records' and this ones a bit heavier, well, a lot heavier lol

I'm also working on two other big projects. One is an album which is coming from an MC in London called 'Drapez'. We've been putting out tracks for a while now and in 2012 there will be an album dropping called 'Drapez - My Way Out' so keep an eye and ear out for that!

The other project I've just started is a second album to follow my first one, 'ENiGMA Dubz - Variationz', but this won't be done for at least a few months and should be out there at some point during 2012.

Other than that I'm still pushing out other tracks, more free downloads, experimenting with other sounds and working with other artists. Me and my girlfriend 'Katie McLeod' are working on more tracks and there will be an E.P coming out on LU10 records featuring Katie's new track 'Brighter Day' alongside a couple of others, so watch out for that and there will be plenty more to come from us in the near future.

Last thing to mention is that I have just put out a mix CD to help push my music to the public. The CD, 'Sub-Mission Vol 1' will be available at most Birmingham Record shops and hopefully Nationwide once I get it out there. All the tracks are produced by myself and I'll be bringing a Volume 2 out next year. If you want more info on this head over to my soundloud and listen to the Mix CD sample.

Whats next?

Well the next thing for me is to start finding ways of pushing my name further. I'm hoping to do more DJ sets next year and also do alot more Official remix work for labels/artists.

Once I get chance to focus on my new album I'll finish that and should get it out during 2012. I'm also keen to get into music for Film and TV so I'm going to be creating all sorts of music next year.

How long have you been doing what you have been doing?

I've been producing for a few years now, not really knowing it myself- just messing around on FL Studio and creating all different styles of music. I started making Dubstep specifically in Summer 2010, but since then I have
produced lots of other types of music. At the end of September 2011, after talking with a DJ known as NAZA from Middlesbrough and finding that he liked my music, he told me to get an artist name, as previously I'd been making music as 'Joel Hunt Music'. So I thought of the name 'Rogue' and got involved with Future Follower Records (a label which NAZA had just started up). Then I made my accounts on YouTube and other social networks.

What are you working on now?

Right now I'm working on a number of tracks, as always, one of them being a take on Coldplay's 'Clocks', another being a 'House' type track with a Rogue twist called 'Tigers', and a 100bpm remix of 'The Tribe' by Driftkong, another Future Follower Records artist.

Whats next?

Next... Well I'm going to continue making music and video blogs, hopefully it'll keep getting the same attention that my current stuff is getting. I'll also be trying out some other genre's like DnB/Drumstep and maybe Moombahton, and mostly just trying to get better at what I do, as I realize I have a lot of headroom. I just want to keep having fun with my music and not take it too seriously, continuing to experiment with new things and find my own sound.

Where are you from?
Ryan - I was born and raised in Jamestown, NY. Most people don't know where that is, and the best description i can offer, is that it's near Buffalo, NY, but in reality, it's really about an hour and a half from there.

How long have you been doing what you do?
Ryan - I always wanted to do something with music. I've taught myself so many instruments like the piano and the guitar, ones that i knew would boost my intelligence about how music actually works and was composed, rather than just learning to read notes off of a page. I looked forever for my niche. I was in bands in high school, and it never made me feel completely satisfied, i always had to trust other people to hold up their end. Finally, i took what i knew, and began to apply it to electronic music production after becoming infatuated with the entirety of the genre. For me, this was it. It was everything i was looking for. This realization occurred only a short 6 months ago.
Doodle - I've been doing music since high school but stopped to concentrate on video production. I met up with Ryan in college then one day we got together and he mentioned DJ'ing a party and we became a duo.

What are you working on now?
We are working on, well expanding our fanbase while growing as a group by putting out songs constantly. Merch is another big project that we've been undertaking, we want the fans to be able to support us.

Whats next?

Another song, another EP, another remix, another fan. Just trying to do anything we can to just blow places up with music, give shows that both involve the crowd and blow them away, and just have a great time doing it. We wanna have fun, and make music, and we want each and every one of you to be a part of it.

MACRODOT writes Dirty.Progressive.Glitch.Music. He is an American electronic musician and producer (AKA Kyle From Ohio). He currently resides in Mesa, Arizona producing electronic music from his home studio. His production style is mostly deep and progressive with broken beats, glitchy overtones, and gritty basslines. Occasionally, he veres off on tangents composing intricate melodies on guitar or piano but always maintains the broken beat undertones. In 2004, Macrodot moved from Ohio to the Phoenix area. In 2005, he was nominated for "Best Local Live Performance" by AZ DanceMusic Awards. In 2008, he released the tunes he had been playing live in a 10 track LP "The Gilded Age of Aristocrats". This is in my opinion a very talented up and comer. YeshYo definitely has the Pop-step down as well as Electro, Drum n Bass and a slew of other bass heavy genres. He was nice enough to write a few words about him self too. This kid is going places. ;)

My name is Matteo Di Berardino, aka YeshYo. I live in Italy, more precisely in Milan. My first approach to music was through my father bought me about three years ago a dj console. After that, exactly in the Christmas 2009, I decided to start producing my music.Currently I have just finished my first, hopefully not last, Official Remix and now I'm starting to work on my first EP which will be a mix of dubstep, electro and DnB.

Graffiti Analysis is an extensive ongoing study in the motion of graffiti. Custom software designed for graffiti writers creates visualizations of the often unseen gestures involved in the creation of a tag. Motion data is recorded, analyzed and archived as Graffiti Markup Language (.gml) files, a specifically formatted XML file designed to be a common open structure for archiving gestural graffiti motion data. GML files are saved in an open online database, 000000book.com, where writers can share analytical representations of their hand styles. Graffiti Analysis is an open source project that is available online for free in OSX, Windows and Linux. Graffiti writers are invited to capture and share their own tags, and computer programmers are invited to create new applications and visualizations of the resulting data. Since the launch of Graffiti Analysis, dozens of GML compatible applications have been built and over 10,000 tags have been uploaded to the 000000book database. What Martha Cooper did for archiving graffiti on film, and Chalfant/Silver did for archiving graffiti in video, Graffiti Analysis intends to do for archiving graffiti in code. The project aims to build the world's largest collection of graffiti motion and bring together two seemingly disparate communities that share an interest hacking systems, whether found in code or in the city.

Graffiti Analysis is a project by Evan Roth. All of the software changes in GAv2.0 and GAv3.0 were written by Mzz Chris Sugrue, with support from the Fondation Cartier and Les Grandes Traversees. We have both been making music for over ten years each. I've been doing dubstep for a bout 2 years and Claw about 4.

How did Hulk come about?

One day randomly Claw asked me if I had any open music sessions that he could work on. We finished a track and Hulk was pretty much born from that!

What is the inspiration for your music?

Hmmm well there are so many, too many to list. But I have been influenced by all types of music from Heavy Metal to Hip Hop...

What are you currently working on?

Just pumping out Hulk tracks at the moment. Working on some collab projects as well, one with Dan Wall and one with Megalodon.

What is next?

We plan to keep pushing the Hulk sound as far as we can take it. Also we are hoping to have a big year next year with our label BroTown Records...

Have no fear Drumstepaz, Wondawulf is here! And his work is too damn hot! So now a few words from the man, the myth, the legend, the... DJ.

I'm DJing and creating music under the name 'Wondawulf'. I was born in Budapest, at the capital of Hungary. This city is the center of music in Hungary. All the big names and events are here, so if you want to deal with music seriously, you have to be here.

I got in touch with electronic music when I was 14, 8 years ago. Since that time, I've been collecting music madly. At the beginning, I was interested in Drum & Bass, but as I got deeper into music, I started to search for new genres. Now I'm interested in new, fresh, creative and innovative music. I don't really care about the genres. I try to be as fresh as possible. All the genres are communicating with each other. If you are interested in just one or two genres you will never understand exactly what you are doing, who you are. I'm playing Dubstep, Drumstep, Minimal, House, Breaks, Hiphop, Jazz, Experimental and Classical music etc. The point is actuality.

I fell in love with Drumstep a few months ago. Now I'm producing mainly remixes, edits, bootlegs. Drumstep is a quite new form of music. You can create Hip-hop, Dubstep and Drum and Bass in one track. That's a really exciting.

I also compose music based on classical and electronic music for contemporary dance performances. That's a really different thing. The new piece I'm working on will be presented at the end of November. The title of the play is 'Simultaneous Windows' by TranzDanz (www.tranzdanz.hu).

I have a monthly club night called Future Music with DJ Palotai (www.myspace.com/djpalotai) and Dublic (www.facebook.com/dublicmusic), where we try to present the freshest music. It's based on our radio show (with the same name) at Radio Tilos Budapest (www.tilos.hu). There is always a lot of work to do with the night. We just had guests, Slum Dogz from the U.K.. Next the year we will have even more guests; Dubstep and House DJs/producers from Europe.

I will do some more tunes and remixes this year and have a lots of gigs. Bar 9, Bare Noize, Hostage, Calvertron, Cosmin Trg, Funtcase just to mention a few artists I will play with.

ok here it is, we are Tomer tekno (Pro Revolution) and Omer messler and we started tek step almost two years ago, late 2008. We're both dance music producers and we try to bring a lot of different influences and even different styles to our dubstep.

We're always working on new tracks.. trying to make our sound grow and not do the same over and over.. sometimes it seems that many artists keep using the same presets to repeat the sound who worked for them and it's hard to find (in dance music) a variety, in terms of sound and style. We want to do everything.. keep things interesting.

We're also hoping to get to the US soon.. We're getting the most love from there and we really want to come play our music and rock the house. but until then you're more then welcome to check out -

NastyNasty when only nasty bass is not enough

Now if you don't know who NastyNasty is you should. This is one of my favorite producers ever! Not only dose create mind bending emotionaly charged music. He is also very good at explaining himself. So now a few words from NastyNasty about NastyNasty. :)

The truth of the matter is I'm kind of a quiet guy, I don't go out a lot and I hide that behind an overtly "good god I'm fucking badass" facade that is NastyNasty so here's the nitty gritty:

I was born in 1983 (yeah, I'm hella old) in a town called Quincy that lies in northeastern california about 100 miles from the nevada border. Quincy is comprised mainly of trees with scattered hippies and streams to skip rocks in. I moved to Cupertino to attend kindergarten and early grade school where I learned a love of music that mostly comprised of singing on the airplane swing my parents built for me and arranging the kitchenware into some form of primitive drum set. I then moved to Dublin(California...not the romantic kind) where i picked up my first legitimate instrument(Saxaphone) in 4th grade. My interest weened and I didn't pick back up seriously until moving back to the south bay in Jr. High School where I began learning to play my acoustic guitar. I continued to play guitar and picked up bass(both upright and electric) in a few bands in jr. high and high school ranging from punk and ska to Jazz and even surf. after high school i was kicked out of my parents house and fired from my job so I started selling weed and hanging out with a different crowd. somewhere in late high school I had been exposed to aphex twin and squarepusher and as I was introduced to more advanced hallucinogens my love for electronic music grew and one night while fighting a noxious void on some really good acid a friend of mine dropped an Outkast cd into the system in my apartment and cranked up the lazers (I lived with a hard nrg crew in my first apartment....most annoying music ever but they did have subwoofers and lazers....). I fell hard...I listened to the CD so much that I had memorized the lyrics to extra terrestrial and could be found rapping them in the bathroom the next day. one of my roomies had a working version of Fruityloops on his computer and I began making primitive hip-hop and jungle beats to back my "sick flows" on it. was quickly introduced to propellerheads reason and began taking production a little more seriously

then I moved to oakland for college

within a week of college I had seen other whitekid rapper/producers and pretty much failed to get "in" with that crowd so I recoiled back into my room, quit rapping and started focusing heavily on IDM production. I crashed my parents computer trying to do something in a cracked version of soundforge over my first christmas vacation back and had spawned the alias Build128 from an error message reading "core engine failure build 128" years passed and I had learned to drill and timestretch and re-pitch everything, make drum patterns of sheer nonsense and splatter melodies around like a jackson pollack sound collage. I also began working on Quitter with one of my college buddies in a morphine induced haze of future-crunk. I began making more and more esoteric endeavors like long winded ambient drones and delved into making hyper melodic breakcore towards the end of my reign.

then I turned 25

and I felt fucking old...burnt out on music almost.... I realized that I had been making super esoteric music just to avoid any sort of emotional connection and started looking at new avenues. Around this time The hard drive that I had used to store most of my Build128 material and project files on suffered a massive failure. weeks later my girlfriend left me and everything I had been working on became extraordinarily personal all at once. I axed Build128 and began making much slower, more synth focused pieces of music that I had later come to discover would be considered "dub-step" or some form of Grime (honestly I couldn't name more than 5 dubstep producers at the time) as well as remixing mainstream rap songs in some vain attempt at getting famous quick to stick it to all my ex girlfriends. I changed my name every couple of weeks until around december of '08 when NastyNasty came to mind as a simple reference to my aesthetic choices and penchant for...well...kinky sex. The Name stuck and I began to find common threads in the genre, I was still pretty aloof to the impact dubstep was having in the states and completely out of the loop as far as knowing there was any kind of scene for it. I found bretheren among other up and comers on myspace like Slugabed and Hovatron and began finding locals such as Salva and Epcot who, in my opinion, were pushing the envelopes in new school club music. Fast Forward about 9 months and here we are... I've etched out a little space for myself with some form of Grime based club music for sound nerds...I've droped esoteric ideals for something far more realistic and honest; a much more visceral representation of what it is to be jasper in the year 2010, a willingness to let it all hang out be it nerdy or angry or downright filthy, a fight against the apathy and laziness that plagues my generation.

and my only hope is that we can all join in one tremendous sonic orgasm, united under a haze of fog machines and lazers, Feeling the bass rip our hearts out of our chests and beckon us to raise hands above our heads yelling "heyoooooooo" right before the beat kicks in and we go back to dancing like idiots

both sincerely and as honestly as humanly possible

Here we have two brothers with a passion for making music. FELONIOUS CRUNK "Thomas Cooper" and MENDOTRON "Jared Gordon" are definitely talented just listen to some of there music.

I was born in Vietnam, adopted at a young age, and raised in Syracuse, Nebraska. Jared was born and raised in Ukiah, California.

Jared has been producing music for almost two years now. I've been producing for a little over a year and a half. "Newbies" as we like to put it.

On Oct. 1st, you can pick up a few of our tracks on a compilation EP released on CrossRoads Records, called: FUEL 2.

I am currently working on what I call "phase II" productions. Trying to keep an open and diverse mind, and seeing what comes out of it. Jared also continues to produce tracks, and spends a lot of time in the studio, sound designing. We both are beginning to learn the aspects of DJing. And we hope to begin to play some live shows in the near future.

So this is one of the best Audio Blogs that I have come across in a long time! Hosta is really doing a service to the whole Bass community world wide. And he is achieving this by doing nothing more than sharing his love for music with the rest of us. It is sites and people like this that have inspired me. And so I pass this on in the hopes that it may inspire you too. I contacted Hosta to find out what he, and his work was all about.

Ben Hossle also known as Hosta.

Where are you from?:

Originally from Manchester UK, I am now based in Newcastle UK at university.

What inspired you to start your blog?:

I just thought that at the time there were a lot of blogs about that were all posting the same music, I already had a load of tunes that people didn't know about, I thought that I could make my own site to promote unknown artists and its just kind of gone from there really.

How long have you been doing what you do?:

Its been just longer than a year since I started the Rub A Dub Dub Blog, and already its grown so much. I honestly didn't expect it to get as well known as it is currently and I like to think people respect it for what it is and pick up the odd gem now and then.

What are you currently working on?:

Currently I am working on a few projects. One I can announce is a new Free EP series that we are launching along with Jenai from Ego Thieves based in London UK. That should be dropping soon, and I think it will surprise a lot of people not just in the quality of music but also the vast range of music genre's we are going to cover in the series.

What is next?:

After that I have a few big plans that are probably too fresh to announce just yet but stay locked!

Well as you know my name is TRAINTRAXX and I’ve been producing music since graduating from Full Sail, Orlando Florida in 2003. I started my career producing Hip Hop music and there after got involved in producing Electronic Music. In the Hip Hop industry I’ve produced records for major artist “Akinyele” and got a feature track featuring “Pleasure P” from former group Pretty Ricky. I’ve done studio work for producer “Salaam Remi” at Instrument Zoo Studios in 2009. I’ve been blessed to work with good people in the past but my passion has slowly moved onto producing Electronic Music, such as Dubstep and Dance records. Electronic music has been a rebirth for my music and me. It’s been great so far.

Are you looking to work with any independent artist(s) right now?:

Yes, I’m looking to work with fresh new artists, singers, emcees and writers with an electronic state of mind right now.

Any particular artist(s) you would like to work with in the future?:

I really have no particular artist in mind. There are too many good artists out there from major to independent. My goal is work with anyone that likes my vibe. I’m always down for something new and refreshing. There is greatness in everyone and I just want to be a part of it.

What is next for you?:

The future looks good. I got a few things lined up. I’m getting involved in producing music for film and video with a major company that produces a lot of shows on television right now. I am very excited for that. Doing soundtracks has always been something I’ve wanted to get involved with.

Permanent Damage Records is a label on an intergalactic scale based in Bermuda, because that’s where the best rum is.

Generally the music we’re in to meets two requirements:

So. say you're having a house party you are not a promoter or a DJ. What do you do? Well now you have AntiHero to the rescue. Robokop is an amazing producer and he had such a nifty bio to so I just posted the whole thing. :)

"Robokop is a 24 year old Dubstep / Hiphop Producer from Hilversum in The Netherlands.

His Fascination for different styles of music started when he was 6 years old, listening to Rock n Roll , Reggea and old Hip-Hop songs. At the age of 12 he started Beatboxing under the name Yoshi J.and developed a extreme love for breaks and beats.Influenced by the east coast Hip-Hop scene.( Soul/ Jazz ) sampled beats.

In 2006 he started producing with a friend of his making Humoristic Hip-Hop songs and learned to create the beats he always wanted to make. Then with De Verse Irritatie, he created a base for himself.

In 2007 he started to work with his old punk band drummer, who also was producing at the time (Distrikt) and still is. At the time he was really into the Drum n Bass/Hip-Hop scene, and combined that interest in making loud heavy Hip-Hop beats.

Eventually in 2009 Robokop started a Hip-Hop/Dubstep movement with Distrikt, Breek and Olaf called CENTRUM.

Although he is still busy with the Centrum movement Robokop picked up the Dubstep genre and started to give his own unique twist to his songs. Trying to combine as many music styles, and make tunes as Epic as possible.

We both went to Highschool in the Reno Nevada area.. He's from NM originally I was born and raised here in Reno.

Scuzzy = Glitchy + Whompy x Dub-Hop for the Soul

Scuzzy (Rafi Benjamin) has been writing songs, producing, and performing for about as long as he can remember. While living in Boston in the late 90's, Scuzzy was a member of Toneburst, a collective of electronic musicians and experimental artists that included DJ C and DJ /rupture. When Scuzzy returned to his hometown of L.A., he formed a live group called Fosforo, that melded his love of good songwriting and lyricism with his electronic music obsessions. More recently, Scuzzy has returned to making solo electronic productions, under his original moniker of Scuzzy, making as he puts it, "Glitchy, Whompy, Dub-hop for the soul."

Scuzzy's take on electronica is not limited to a particular genre, as he explores the meeting points of hip hop, Downtempo, Dubstep, Breaks, and Jungle. Scuzzy's live performances are an important part of his expression, he insists on remixing, glitching, and dubbing tracks out live, even incorporating live vocals and instrumentation when possible.

As far as I'm concerned, it's all psychedelic rave music. Says Scuzzy, I'm interested in anything that moves the body and stretches the mind, as well as the Downtempo stuff that you'd want to chill to at the end of the night. I came out of the live music tradition. Says Scuzzy, my dad would take me to Grateful Dead shows as a kid... so for me it's important for the live experience to be truly live, to have elements of surprise and discovery. A lot of producers want to mix finished tracks, because they want stuff to hit hard over loud sound-systems. I understand why they do it, but like De La Soul put it: "Fuck being hard, Posdnous is complicated!"

Scuzzy continues to produce new tracks and mixes, and has a few collaborations in the works, including ones with Bassobese, Splice, Angel Garcia (formerly of Mezklah), and Knowa Knowone. He is also closely aligned with the Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps. Working with them to bring the crazy and the consciousness to down-ass people around the world.

Max Tannone has a particular talent for the mash-up. I ran across one of his remix projects on the internet. I was really impressed so I tracked him down and asked him a few questions.

Where are you from?:

I am from upstate NY but now live in NYC. I actually lived in NYC a long time ago, moved away, and am now back.

How old are you?:

24.

How long have you been doing what you do?:

About 8 years. I began making really basic DJ style blends - learning how to find the tempo of an acapella and matching it to a beat. After this I began making beats. I was heavily into the Neptunes at the time, and used to read through the forums on their message board. This was around 2002 when like 45% of songs on urban radio were produced by them. Anyway, from here I just kept at it making my own tracks.

Its kind of funny because I wasn't really into doing mash-ups or anything when I made Jaydiohead. I was strictly trying to place original beats with artists and was frustrated with the whole process - so I made it out of fun and sort of became known for it. That being said I try to add a lot of my own elements, rather than just a basic "mash-up".

What made you decide to do these remix projects in the first place?:

I guess just experimentation. I remember listening to "I Might Be Wrong" by Radiohead and thinking that it basically was a hip-hop track - and I went from there. "Wrong Prayer" and "Ignorant Swan" sat for like 9 months before I made the other 8 original Jaydiohead tracks. I definitely didn't think people would be really into it.

My Beastie Boys and Mos Dub projects were both challenges. I'm just trying to find interesting ways to put tunes together, while hopefully adding some of my own touches in the process. All of these projects are like tributes to my musical heroes. I hope that doesn't sound corny.

What's next?:

To be honest, I'm not sure. I have to wait until the idea finds me...!

A DJ of 10+ yrs and producing for 8 of those, music is a natural aspect for J.me.J. A drummer since the age of 5 and picking up guitar, keyboard, saxaphone, and anything that makes a tone, he found that producing was a natural graduation. Fusing elements of classical to metal music, hip hop, and mashing the genres together, he found his niche in the glitch hop and dubstep world. Consistency, Integrity, and passion for what he does is what makes his music stand out from the rest. Tired of hearing the same old patterns and layouts of other tracks made him realize he wanted to change that. And his tracks do morph and keep u emmersed in a world of particular and well thought out sounds, with special attention to the staging and overall quality. His constant thirst for better production and sound are quickly making him a force to reckon with. Along side the crew he co-founded with Glitchy and Scratchy and Application, the Integrated Grime Unit of Vancouver is now the premier crew for all things glitch and dubstep. He is also responsible for the immerging scene in Edmonton, Alberta, mentoring the likes of up and coming artists, the Knight Riderz, and Prime of The Dub Affiliates. 2010 is proving to be a rocket start for him label wise with a release on Skanky Panky Records, theoretic records, and an upcoming EP, singles on various other labels forthcoming. HavocNdeeD is a truly live Bass Music show, purely turntable-ism, Live Drumming, and Midi Controlling. Not to mention the fact that they produce killer tracks. And are truly Multi Genre Djs and Producers.

OB-one was kind enough to answer a few questions. About what HavocNdeeD is. And what they do.

How long have you each been in the game?:

-I (OB-one) have been DJ'ing for 15 years & producing for about 10 of those years. J.Paul has been DJ'ing for about 5 years but doing music most of his life with playing numerous instruments as well as being in bands for close to 12 years before turning to production.

How long have you been performing together? and do you always play with a live drum set?:

-we have been producing & performing together for just over a year now. we actually have different versions of our live set:

1) a 2x4 DJ setup

2) J.Paul w/1 turntable w/a mixer along w/a synth/midi controller & a full turntable set-up for me

3) J.Paul on a full midi drum set & a full turntable setup along w/a midi controller for me

...our goal with our live set is to be able to someday perform every aspect of our songs along the lines of pendulum

What type of bass music do you like most Dubstep, Glitch-hop, Drum n Bass, etc...:

-although our sets & production are dubstep driven, we don't really favor any particular genre as it is all related & just different bpm's to us. haha, we try not be be genre or bpm snobs

What are you musical influences?:

-we both have very diverse musical backgrounds. our influences range from reggae to punk to industrial to metal to classic hip hop. we don't believe you should ever limit yourself by being closed minded...good music is good music no matter what genre it is

Here is another large influence of mine Ben Gibbard. This guy has done so much that I just Wikipediaed him to get all this info together. Benjamin Gibbard (born August 11, 1976 in Bremerton, Washington) is an American musician known as a member of several successful indie rock bands. He is the lead singer of Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service, also known for his project ¡All-Time Quarterback! and his first band, Pinwheel. He is married to the actress and singer Zooey Deschanel.

Gibbard spent his formative years in Bremerton, Washington during the time of the grunge musical explosion during the early 1990s. He graduated from Olympic High School in 1994. Growing up he was influenced by Elliott Smith, Nirvana, The Stone Roses, Superchunk, Built to Spill, Teenage Fanclub, Pixies, Pavement, Fugazi, and Hall & Oates. He also cites Jack Kerouac as a major influence. He studied Engineering at Western Washington University. He was raised Roman Catholic and referred to himself as "this indoctrinated Catholic even though I haven't been to church of my own volition in 10 or 15 years now." He and his band Death Cab for Cutie are also known for their contributions to veganism and animal rights. However, in a 2003 interview Gibbard stated that while he had previously been a vegan, he had recently become a pescetarian.

Gibbard is the original bassist for the Revolutionary Hydra, a band that also included Death Cab for Cutie bandmate Chris Walla and original drummer Nathan Good, as well as Jay Chilcote, Joe Chilcote, and Barton Sharp.
Sang backing vocals on the song "This Is the Thrilling Conversation You've Been Waiting For" from Harvey Danger's 2000 album King James Version.
Appeared as a guest on Jimmy Tamborello's (his Postal Service collaborator) 2001 Dntel album entitled Life Is Full of Possibilities, contributing vocals to the song "(This Is) The Dream of Evan and Chan."
Played bass for Pedro the Lion on their 2001 tour.
Contributed backing vocals on the 2001 release by The Prom, "Now and Then".
Contributed backing vocals on the 2001 The American Analog Set album "Know By Heart", on the song "The Postman".
Played drums on the song "Carparts" for The Long Winters' 2002 album, The Worst You Can Do Is Harm.
Performed drums on label-mate's Kind of Like Spitting 2002 album, Bridges Worth Burning, further contributing vocals to the album's untitled last track.
Collaborated with Andrew Kenny on Home Volume V, released March 30, 2004, as part of the Home EP series.
Contributed vocals for Styrofoam's 2004 album Nothing's Lost on the track "Couches in Alleys."
Provided backup vocals on the song "Midnight Again" for Certainly, Sir's 2005 album TAN!

Contributed vocals on The Postal Service's 2006 remix of "Mushaboom" by Feist.
Co-wrote the film score for the 2007 film Kurt Cobain About a Son, about the Nirvana lead singer, with producer Steve Fisk.
Contributed backing vocals on the 2008 release by Sun Kil Moon, "April".
Appeared on the 2008 Nada Surf album Lucky, on the song "See These Bones"..
Appeared on the 2009 charity CD compilation Dark Was the Night, along with Feist, on the track "Train Song".
Collaborated with Jay Farrar on all tracks to the soundtrack of the 2009 documentary film One Fast Move or I'm Gone, about Jack Kerouac's time spent at Big Sur.

"Jansten Roberston", a 27 year old producer / Dj currently residing in Boulder, CO. has been Djing for 7 years and producing for 5. Jantsen is affiliated with family moons (www.familymoons.com) and is working on an E.P. with Bassnectar as well as one of his own that you can expect to see out soon. I don't see Jantsen going anywhere but up the ranks of the Bass Music community this kid has got fire.

The best way I can explain this would be Dubstep for zombies. Lucas Silerstein and David Wadsworth are two talented producers from New York & Florida, USA. And Bass Music is what they do.

We are two counterparts said Vengeance of the Undead, who love nothing more than making music. Offering a unique and original sound, with every song, to the Dubstep scene. We gather our influences from all sorts of things, but really enjoy the darker and horror elements. Thus we tend to stick to a Dark and Hard sound. Bringing stories through sound, Giving the listeners a unique ride through our songs. We put this little army together for the simple love of Horror and Bass and passion for the Drum and Bass and Dubstep. Both of us do not believe in the gimmick of using the same sound more than once in our tunes unless it calls for it. So there is a variety from each of our songs.
